Riley Newman

Riley Newman is one of pickleball's true originals - a player whose creative shotmaking and strategic brilliance have kept him at the top of the sport for years. Known for his ability to construct points like a chess grandmaster and then finish them with highlight-reel attacks, Riley has built a reputation as one of the most cerebral competitors on tour. He's been a consistent force on the PPA Tour, racking up titles in both men's doubles and mixed doubles, and his name is practically synonymous with high-level pickleball.

Off the court, Riley has become a brand unto himself, running the Riley Newman Accelerator Programs to help develop the next generation of players. He plays for the New York Hustlers in Major League Pickleball and has bounced between paddle sponsors, most recently signing with Paddletek heading into 2026 after stints with Takeya and ProXR. Riley's doubles partnerships have produced some of the most memorable matches in PPA history, and he's frequently found on championship Sunday battling against the likes of Ben Johns and Collin Johns.
