Parris Todd

Before Parris Todd ever picked up a pickleball paddle, she was already a tennis prodigy. Starting at age 5 (after literally asking for a racket for her birthday), she climbed to #1 nationally in the girls' 10s and 12s divisions and turned pro on the ITF tour at just 14. She racked up over 85 tennis titles before stepping away at 18 due to the physical and emotional grind, launching a fashion line and figuring out her next move. Then in late 2021, she tried pickleball at a Newport Beach club after tennis injuries sidelined her, fully expecting to hate what she once called "an old person's sport." She entered her first PPA event in January 2022 and finished 4th. Oops.

Since then, Parris has become one of the most decorated players in the game. She won the Triple Crown (singles, doubles, and mixed) at the Minto US Open in 2023, then did it AGAIN at the APP Newport Beach Open, becoming the first woman in APP history with multiple Triple Crowns. She's collected over 43 medals across the PPA, APP, and MLP tours, won two MLP titles in 2022, and plays for the Atlanta Bouncers.
